• The path to profitability. “Part of our restructuring consisted of renegotiating our aircraft lease contracts. But we also reworked the CLA’s with our pilots and cabin crew. We are improving our margin step by step. We now are at 3.8%, the goal is 8%.”
• Upcoming projects: “Within Lufthansa, Brussels Airlines has been chosen as first mover to switch to a new database software management system. We will provide a blueprint for the rest of the group.”
• Her first months at Brussels Airlines: “I started during the COVID-19 pandemic. Zero flights, zero operations. Our sole focus then was to keep the company alive.”
